Wild animals and wildfowl is some of another Ly Disease agent, if your dog play in infected areas and then travel not only carry the disease, but could also carry a live infected tick along with them.
To solve these dog health problems the best way is to give a vaccine to your dog. Must refer advised by the closest veterinary first before any vaccine action should you give to your dog.
Bath and brush your dog if they play at wild place like tall grass and the forest. If you had a outdoor activity like a picnic, camping or jog, be sure to eye on your dog. Brush them after your outdoor activity is a good precaution. If you find a tick attached to your dog, carefully remove it with tweezers, pulling back slowly and steadily so as to remove all the ticks mouthparts. Don’t just rely on one ticks only, find again it maybe more than one. Especially on the bite area if your dog just bitten by another alone dog outside before. Wash the bite area, your hands and the tweezers with antiseptic soap. Regular baths, dips and wearing of flea and tick collars are wise ideas.
Symptoms to watch for are: fever, depression, loss of appetite, lethargy, sudden pain or lameness, arthritic like symptoms. Any time you suspect illness contact your veterinarian for treatment. Treatment for Lyme disease is effective in the early stages. However, the prognosis is not so good if your ill pet is left unattended.
